PAT workers organize 'Qisas rally' in Peshawar

Demanding justice against the killing of Model Town, Lahore episode, workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) on Saturday took out Qisas rally from Peshawar Cantt and gathered in front of press club. Amid chanting full-throated slogans against the incumbent Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz led federal and Punjab governments for a massacre of PAT workers in Model Town Lahore, and against failing to bring the responsible of bloodshed to the court of justice.
The protesting activists of Qisas movement led by Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran leaders and PAT Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter president Khawrani along-with other offices bearers were carrying placards and banners inscribed with different slogans demanding justice for the killing of innocent workers of PAT, and a commitment to take revenge for the killing as per the Sharia law.
Like other parts of the country, the PAT activists on the call of party chief Tahir-ul Qadri, took out Qisas rally from Peshawar Cantt in which party workers male activists and veiled female workers along-with their children took part. They were hoisting party flags and carrying portraits of party's chief Tahirul Qadri. The protest rally after passing through Saddar road reached in front of press club, where they recorded their protest on main Sher Shah Suri road outside press club building.
Talking to media on the occasion, PAT provincial chief Khawrani said that Punjab government brutally killed innocent workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek for its political gains and to hide the corruptions and mismanagements of the rulers.
