Security forces in their combing operations in Quetta and adjoining areas have arrested more than 70 suspected people. Spokesman of Balochistan government did not give details of the operation but said that several persons were arrested and arms and explosives were recovered from their custody.
After the blast at civil hospital in Quetta, the CoAS General Raheel Sharif in consultation with the political leadership directed the security fo5rces for combing operations against terrorists. After this the security forces set up check posts at different places. In all 143 persons were arrested in 13 operations in Quetta while more than 500 persons were arrested in the provinces.
