On Monday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 2,902 million and the number of lots traded was 9,516. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,013. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1,168 million followed by currencies through COTS PKR 933.28 million, crude oil PKR 669.20 million, silver PKR 127.05 million and cotton PKR 3.95 million.
