The participants of the training were engaged in practices of survivor centric approaches toward the litigants, myths and cultural practices of gender exclusion. Tahira Kaleem-Trainer Gender Equity Program from Blue Veins share, "Initially we were expecting that this subject has been taught and discussed that it does not hold anything new to the participants.
But during the training it was realised that the educated community of society is also lacking the actual concept of gender and they have only taught a strict curriculum of law and constitution.' "The Myths and facts regarding Gender Based Violence were very challenging to accept that what we believe deep inside are actually myths and contradict facts this training was very thought provoking," said an office bearer of the District Bar Association Peshawar.
