PPP MPAs slam PTI for 'betraying' Karachi Ittehad

26 Aug, 2016

Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) MPAs Sajid Jokhio, Jawaid Nagori and Shaheena Sher Ali have condemned PTI for betraying the Karachi Ittehad by covertly voting for candidates for Chairman and Vice Chairman for local government in district west. The PTI has deceived the Karachi Ittehad for petty and personal gain, which is against the democratic norms and values.
In a statement issued from PPP Media Cell Sindh, they said though every political party was free to keep its own policies and instances but when a party was part of an alliance, it was its obligation to remain loyal to the alliance and obey the decisions, which the PTI was greatly missing.
They said PTI should have not entered the Karachi Ittehad if they had a covert plan to ruin the alliance, which they had done. "This act of the PTI is shameful and is a clear message to all political parties in Pakistan that they should never trust PTI as it could always deceive them for personal gains." They said political parties were nurseries of training the youth as political workers but the entirely hypocritical instances of the PTI had disappointed the political workers.
