Saudi prince, PM hold talks

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Saudi Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed bilateral relations between the two countries when the latter met him at the Prime Minister's House on Sunday night.
According to Aaj News, they also discussed other matters of mutual interests. The visit of Saudi deputy crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman was part of his regular interaction with this friendly country and made at the request of the Pakistani government. Saudi Prince exchanged views on regional situation.
They discussed mutual cooperation in defence and security matters and fight against terrorism. They agreed to promote bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in matters of mutual interests.
Sharif has paid four visits to the Kingdom since January this year. Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain also visited Saudi Arabia last month.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy close relations and remain in touch on major regional and international issues.
Saudi prince was accorded a warm welcome at the Prime Minister's House where chief of armed forces and federal ministers were also present. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also hosted a dinner in his honour.
APP adds: Earlier, upon his arrival at the airport, the Saudi Prince was received by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, high ranking officials and members of Saudi Embassy in Pakistan.
