On Tuesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,477 million and the number of lots traded was 13,423. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,976. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS (PKR 2,421 million) followed by gold PKR 1,315 million, crude oil PKR 597.51 million, silver PKR 132.12 million and cotton PKR 10.79 million.
