The security forces killed a terrorist and foiled a major terror bid by recovering a bomb in various districts of Balochistan on Saturday. Levies sources said that terrorists attacked the security forces in Siakho locality of Dera Bugti. The security forces remained unhurt in the attack and in retaliatory action one terrorist was killed while his other accomplices managed to escape. The Levies men also recovered arms and four motorcycles left behind by the fleeing terrorist.
Spokesman of the Frontier Corps (FC) said that the paramilitary troops foiled a major terror bid as they recovered a locally manufactured bomb weighing 15 kilogram and planted by roadside in Uch area of Nasirabad district. The bomb was later defused by the bomb disposal squad (BDS). The security forces cordoned off the area after both incidents and launched search operation.
