Sartaj, Omani FM discuss bilateral relations

Adviser to the Prime Minster on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz was on a two-day bilateral visit to Muscat from September 3-4, 2016, at the invitation of Yusuf Bin Alawai Bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of Sultanate of Oman.
Earlier on Sunday, the Adviser, along with the Omani Foreign Minister held an in-depth discussion focusing on the entire spectrum of bilateral relations in an hour long session, followed with a joint press stakeout. While appreciating the unique and historically friendly relations as a firm basis, the two dignitaries expressed their commitment to intensify exchanges and cooperation to realise full potential of the geographical and maritime proximity that complimented Pakistan and Oman. Prior to meeting the Foreign Minister, Sartaj Aziz had delivered a lecture on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's vision for 'Peaceful Neighbourhood" at the Diplomatic Institute and separately discussed Defence and Security relations with the Minister Responsible for Defence.-PR
