Banners displayed Altaf's traitors deserve death punishment, warns unknown supporters

Unidentified persons displayed banners inscribed with slogans that traitors of Muttahida Qaumi Movement's founder Altaf Hussain deserved death punishment and this slogan is deemed a threat to Pakistan-based leaders of MQM who disowned Altaf as their party chief in the wake of latter's August 22 anti-Pakistan speech. "Jo Quaid ka ghaddar hay, woh maut ka haqdar hay (Traitor of Altaf Hussain deserves death)," reads one such banner displayed near the Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday.
However, as soon as news channels aired the news, police reached the spot and removed the banner. Police also claimed to have arrested three accused besides seizing a vehicle parked near SHC. In Saddar area, banners were inscribed with slogans against Farooq Sattar-led MQM Pakistan Rabita Committee. Farooq Sattar and his Rabita Committee had announced they will operate MQM on their own dissociating themselves from London secretariat also.
