Sindh resources may help resolve energy crisis: SBI chief

Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment (SBI), Naheed Memon said that the Sindh province got the resources which may help resolve energy crisis in the country. Speaking at a seminar on renewable energy organized by famous company of Denmark, Ramball, she said, "We have coal reserves, excellent wind corridor and solar power in Sindh."
She said that the government of Sindh is fully encouraging the investors working on the renewable energy projects. She said that Pakistan is a country with rapidly increasing middle class and got many beneficial investment opportunities. "We want to take benefits from the experiences and expertise of the Danish experts in the field of renewable energy, she said. She also invited the investors from the companies of Denmark to bring investment along with technologies and take benefits. Ambassador of Denmark in Pakistan, Ole Thonke and others also spoke on the occasion.
