A delegation of K-Electric led by Head of Abraaj Asia, Omar Lodhi called on the Federal Minister for Finance, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar here on Tuesday. Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif and Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi were present on the occasion. During the meeting, Ishaq Dar was briefed about the planned investment by Shanghai Electric in the company. The meeting was informed that the new investment will strengthen the distribution network and result in improvement in the electricity transmission and generation infrastructure in Karachi.
The Finance Minister welcomed the participation of new investors and expressed his support and cooperation to all efforts aimed at providing better services to the people of Karachi.
