PDWP approves schemes worth Rs 4905.81 million

The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved development schemes of various sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 4905.81 million. The schemes were approved in the 14th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2016-17 presided over by the Punjab Chairman P&D Board Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
Secretary P&DD Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting. According to an official for P&DD, the approved development schemes included Establishment of Public Private Partnership Cell in the P&D Department (Revised) at the cost of Rs 807.816 million, Enhanced HIV / AIDS Prevention & Control Program, Punjab (Phase-IV) at the cost of Rs 2080.928 million, Strengthening of Infection Control Regime at Public Hospitals and Provision of Infectious Waste Disposal Facilities for Private/Public Hospitals in the Punjab at the cost of Rs 904.948 million, Establishment of Project Management Unit for the Project Establishment of Punjab Public Health Agency (PPHA) at the cost of Rs 164.315 million and GIS Integrated Computerisation of Urban Immovable Property Tax (UIPT) System in Thirty Districts of Punjab and Third Party Audit of Assessment of Immovable Properties to Plug Leakages at the cost of Rs 947.803 million.
