Fata reform process to complete soon: KP Governor

The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that FATA Reform Process will be completed soon in accordance with the aspirations and expectations of the people of the region. Similarly, he added, the TDPs will also be settled in their native places till the end of current year. He was talking to the participants of 105th National Management Course at Governor House Peshawar on Tuesday.
Additional Chief Secretary FATA Fida Wazir, Secretary Law and Orders FATA Dr Ataur Rehman and Secretary P&D FATA Shakil Qadir were present on the occasion. The participants of the National Management Course comprising senior officers of Pakistan Administrative Service; Pakistan Custom Services; Pakistan Foreign Services etc were headed by its Faculty Member Shahid Rahim Sheikh. During three days "training course tour" of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; they had this meeting with the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Governor House, Peshawar.
Secretary Law and Orders FATA Dr Ataur Rehman while briefing the participants on situation in FATA said that a well prepared and thought out mechanism has been developed to monitor and expedite pace of work on the developmental schemes and ensure their completion within the stipulated period. He also apprised the participants about the repatriation process of TDPs and makes sure their rehabilitation at their native places. He also briefed the participants regarding the law and order situation in FATA and performance of Levies and Khasadar forces for maintaining peace and stability in the tribal areas.
He explained that a mechanism has been developed for making proper training of the personnel of the levies and the Khasadar forces and equipping them with required equipments, possible as well.
