Fully furnished and customised offices on rental basis is a new experiment in Faisalabad which will help in attracting new investors as well as vendors in the backdrop of CPEC, said Nikolai V. Deulin, Regional Commercial Director of the Regus. He was talking to leading businessmen of Faisalabad during his visit to FCCI here Wednesday.
He said that Regus is present in 900 cities of 120 countries across the globe whereas it is successfully maintaining 3000 places for rental purposes. He said that experience of Regus in Karachi proved very successful where occupancy rate of its offices is more than 80-85 percent. He said that now Regus is expanding its operation in Lahore, Islamabad and Faisalabad.
He said that in Faisalabad it has prepared offices in Meezan Executive Tower at Liaqat Road which are being offered to the businessmen according to their own choice and requirement. He said these offices are available in the form of one or two desks while shared facilities of meeting room and Lounge etc would also be made available. These offices could be rented out in accordance with needs of the customers from one month to one year, he added.
He further told that the businessmen of Faisalabad could also seek help in case of expanding their businesses to other major cities of Pakistan or other countries. He also announced to donate one free desk from FCCI in its Meezan Executive Tower. Quoting the idiom "Seeing is believing" he said that the visitor to the FCCI desk will themselves judge the excellent facilities offered by Regus.
Earlier former President Engineer Rizwan Ashraf briefed about Faisalabad and FCCI and said that more than 5000 members of FCCI belong to all segments of economy. Faisalabad Chamber is serving business community of Faisalabad for the last many years. It is a bridge between Government and business community. We are advocating the cause of businessmen at the Government level in addition to helping Government in policy making. He expressed concern that some fake companies could also exploit the rental offices to loot the people in the garb of business, hence Regus should lease out its offices to only genuine businessmen.
Vote of thanks was offered by Muzammil Sultan, former President FCCI while the meeting was also attended by Haji Muhammad Shafi, Acting Vice President, Ajmal Farooq, Ahmad Hassan, Muhammad Amjad Khawaja, Rashid Munir, Haji Muhammad Salim and Secretary General FCCI Abid Masood.
