On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), value traded was PKR 4,307 million and the number of lots traded was 10,591. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,005. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 1,655 million followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1,594 million, crude oil PKR 749.28 million and silver PKR 307.93 million.
