Roads leading to major hospitals of city damaged, bumpy

Damage and bumpy roads leading to major hospitals of city, including Dow Medical Institute, Memon Hospital, and Kiran Hospital create serious inconvenience to thousands of visiting patients. A major portion of University Road from Karachi University Staff Colony Gate to Safoora Chowrangi and from Safoora Chowrangi to Kiran Hospital had developed deep craters and potholes owing to the water gushing out from some leaking pipelines, causing heavy jerks to the motorists and damages to their vehicles.
Beside road green belt in the center of main university road also damaged at several places and bike riders, rickshaw and car drives use this damaged part to crossing from one side to other dangerously. Resident of the area has urged the Chief Minster Sindh Murad Ali Shah to visit Kiran Hospital by University Road via Safoora roundabout to physically examine the condition of the roads and direct concern authorities to at least start patching work on these roads so that movement of vehicle becomes easy.
