The Supreme Court on Tuesday directed the Sindh government for the formation of service rules for Sindh Building Control Authority (SCBA) and other departments. The three-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Amir Hani Muslim and comprising Justice Iqbal Hameedur Rahman and Justice Ejaz heard the case. During the course of proceedings, Additional Advocate General Sindh, Dr Farogh Nasim counsel for SCBA and director SCBA Agha Maqsood appeared before the court.
Farogh Nasim in his arguments stated that the provincial government had appointed Director General and Chief Executive Officer in grade 20. He said that there was no cader post of Chief Controller. He said that many officers would effect due to court decision as there were no service rules for the department.
