Taliban leader Azam Tariq among four killed in air strike

Four Taliban leaders including Taliban spokesman Azam Tariq were killed by a joint Afghan and Nato air strike in the Laman area of Afghanistan's Paktika Province. Sources said that Raees Khan, also known as Azam Tariq, a spokesman for the Khan Said group of the Tehreek-e Taliban, was killed in the airstrike.
Other including Azam Tariq's son and three other Taliban leaders were also killed in the attack, but did not give their names.
Earlier, Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansoor had been killed in a United States strike, a year after he was appointed leader of the group.
