Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), General Raheel Sharif Thursday telephoned Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed rising tension between Pakistan and India following New Delhi's claim about surgical strikes. According to official sources, the army chief informed the PM about India's recent cease-fire violation on the Line of Control where two Pakistani soldiers were martyred in the Indian firing. The army chief also exchanged views with the PM over India's claim about carrying out surgical strike in Azad Kashmir sectors, sources said.
