United Bank Limited (UBL) recently commenced its Student Scholarship Program at the Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Multan. The University's Student Scholarship Program assists disadvantaged students through scholarships. UBL, as part of its long established sustainability agenda of supporting higher education, has partnered with BZU in this program. The Bank will provide 50 Masters' Degree Scholarships to students for the 2016-17 academic year.
Wajahat Husain, President & CEO, UBL and Professor Dr Tahir Amin, Vice Chancellor, BZU signed the agreement at BZU in Multan, on behalf of their respective organisations. Wajahat Husain, on the occasion, said, "It is an honour for UBL to partner with BZU in their Student Scholarship Program. As a progressive and innovative bank, we have always supported higher education in Pakistan.
