Development works in terrorism affected areas is top priority: Asad Qaiser

SWABI: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser Friday said the government would initiate development works in all terrorism affected areas which were remained on least priority of the previous government during the last 60 years on priority basis.

Addressing a public gathering in Topi area here, he said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was the most affected province due to terrorism, adding that PTI government would address all the injustices done with KP province.

He said National Highway Authority (NHA) would be mobilized to carry out development projects in KP’s most affected areas on top priority. He said that NHA did not work on any new project in KP during the last 60-year.

He assured that all the incentives and privileges to industrial Estate Swabi would be restored and work on Rashakai interchange would also be kicked off soon.

The Speaker said that the KP would get its due share of water, saying that how could it be justified that 62,000 Cusec water was being given to Ghazi Barotha while River Sindh was getting only 1,000 cusec.
