Sikh community leader, Dr Amarjeet Singh has demanded United Nations (UN) to take notice of Indian atrocities in held Kashmir.
While speaking in a ceremony in Washington, Khalistan movement leader Amarjeet has urged that India should stop violence on Sikhs and Kashmiris. It is worth-mentioning that Amarjit asked Pakistan for diplomatic assistance against India. Dr Amarjeet Singh has also inquired as to why India didn't choose other Indo-Pak borders instead of Punjab for initiating a war with Pakistan.
He said that minorities in India including Muslims are being targeted. He also pronounced that "Indian barbarism" is at its peak in occupied Kashmir. Amarjeet reiterated that its time that Kashmiris and Sikhs should be given freedom to exercise their rights. The ceremony was also attended by other Khalistan movement's leaders including Utar Singh. On the other hand, the Sikh community in India is in dire straits as the government is forcing them to displace from the border areas owing to the ongoing tensions.
The community members revelled that their crops were destroying and the farmers had to face huge financial losses. They community members were of the opinion that they want peace and not war.
