This is apropos a Business Recorder news item "I've never described Nawaz or Altaf as traitor,' insists Bilawal" carried by the newspaper on Saturday. According to it, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said since Nawaz Sharif is a democratically elected prime minister of Pakistan, he would never describe him as a "traitor".
Bilawal further said he had differences with PM Nawaz Sharif on several issues, but never termed him a traitor'. "Nawaz Sharif is a democratically elected PM and I can't even think of using such a word against him," he was quoted as saying. Bilawal's remarks clearly show his approach to politics. These surely show that he represents a political clan that has rendered numerous sacrifices for democracy in Pakistan. Under no circumstances will he cause any harm to democracy in the country. Here one must not lose sight of the fact that it was PML-N that had described the then prime minister, Benazir Bhutto, as "security risk".
