Hot, dry weather to prevail in plain areas

The met office Tuesday forecast hot and dry weather to prevail in plain areas of the country during the next 24 hours. An official of met office told that rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas. Weak seasonal low lies over north-Balochistan. A shallow westerly trough is still affecting northern parts of the country.
Highest temperatures recorded were Turbat 42C, Padidan 40, Benazirabad, Sibbi and Lasbella 39C, Multan 37C, Hyderabad 36C, Faisalabad 35C, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar 34C, Islamabad 33C, Dir and Muzaffarabad 30C. In last 24 hours weather remained hot & dry in most parts of the country.
