Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed the authorities concerned to expedite work on the rehabilitation of infrastructure in Shangla affected by recent flood. He said Rs 220 million for rehabilitation of roads and Rs 200 million for other identified projects had been released. Identified schemes should immediately be implemented and judicious utilisation of funds must be ensured in order to facilitate general public, he added. He was presiding over a meeting to discuss relief funds of district Shangla here at Chief Minister Secretariat Peshawar.
Member Provincial Assembly Shaukat Yousufzai, Administrative Secretaries of concerned departments, DG PDMA, and Deputy Commissioner Shangla also attended.
