Spanish Diplomat found dead mysteriously

A Spanish Diplomat on Thursday was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Sector F-7/2 of the federal capital. Police said that 60-year-old deceased, identified as John Jenner, who was working as Consular Attaché at the Spanish Embassy committed suicide. He was residing in House no, 5B, Street no 12, Sector F-7/2 in the limits of Kohsar Police Station.
Sohail Akram, an Investigation Officer who also visited the site of the incident said that the Diplomat was found dead in his bedroom by his domestic servant with a 38 bore pistol lying near the dead body. The Diplomat shot himself dead in the mouth, he added. Akram said that soon after receiving information, the police reached at the site and shifted the dead body to the hospital for autopsy. Police source said the Diplomat had been living in the federal capital for over last 34 years along with his aged cook. The deceased had married twice but was divorced. He was also receiving medical treatment at a private hospital. A senior doctor at the Federal Government Services Hospital commonly known as Polyclinic Hospital on the condition of anonymity said the Diplomat died of a gunshot wound. Police handed over the dead body to the Spanish Embassy authorities after fulfilling legal formalities.
