The Senate Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reforms will discuss impediments on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and scrapping of projects at advance stages here on today (October 17).
According to a notification issue by the Senate Secretariat, the Planning ministry would brief the committee on scrapping of projects under CPEC such as Matiari to Lahore Transmission Line, scrapping of complex of power plants in Gadani, investment in Quid-e-Azam Solar Park in Punjab; Coal fired Power Plant in Kallar Kahar and Thar Coal Plants.
The Secretary Planning Development and Reforms will also brief the committee in detail about the utilisation of Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2015-16 till June 30, 2016.
