Chief of the Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday to discuss security situation of the country. Civil and military leadership met in a one-on-one session in the federal capital yesterday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was briefed over situation at the Line of Control (LoC) and unprovoked firing by India. Separately, the Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan convened a meeting with the Prime Minister to brief him over progress in the probe regarding a controversial news story.
