Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has launched the level two of Teacher Development Program (TDP) in the province. During this phase, as much as 328 teachers' trainings would be held in 36 districts of the province. The training program is aimed to sensitise the partner schools' teachers and head teachers about latest concepts of teaching and education so that they could perform better. It would also help the schools to maintain their scholastic respectability.
Managing Director PEF Tariq Mahmood said this while presiding over a departmental meeting at his office on Tuesday. Addressing the meeting, he said that 328 trainings under level one of Teacher Development Program have already been completed. A total of 9500 teachers and head teachers of 1944 partner schools of different districts attended the trainings to improve their intellectual ken. The second phase of these trainings would conclude on December 02, this year. It is hoped that this training would further help to arrange quality education for the students, he added.
