Korean embassy organises musical, cultural event

The Embassy of Korea on Thursday organized a musical event/cultural event at a local hotel to entertain the residents of the twin cities. The event feature was a performance by Noreum Machi, one of the best known Korean music groups. In addition, these shows include performance by Yong-Bu Ha, an internationally acclaimed artist as well as a dancer who was declared as one of the cultural assets by the Korean government.
The Embassy of Korea is celebrating this month as 'the Korea Month' to commemorate the Foundation Day of Korea. Various events have been organized by the embassy for promoting economic and cultural cooperation between Pakistan and Korea throughout October. In his welcome remarks, Korean Ambassador Suh Dong Gu said that as the new Korean Ambassador, he is putting special emphasis on cultivating closer cultural ties and people-to-people contacts between the two countries. "Let's share our emotions through a universal language of music and dance. Let me thank you, Noreum Machi and Yong-Bu Ha for coming all the way from Korea just to entertain us tonight", he added.
