UK MPs briefed about Indian brutalities in IHK

Special envoy of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Finance Committee Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh met with the British Parliamentarians in Parliament House, London. The purpose of this visit is to highlight the contributions of Pakistan for Kashmir dispute. Among others who attended the meeting and spoke on the Kashmir issue included Lord Nazir Ahmed, Lord Qurban Hussain, Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, Baroness Uddin, Julie Cooper MP, Kate Green MP and Chris Lesley MP.
While addressing the British Parliamentarians, Chairman Finance Committee Qaiser Ahmad Sheikh gave a genesis of the Kashmir issue along with United Nations Security Council Resolutions and sought support of United Kingdom for the Kashmiris right to self-determination. He emphasised the commitment of Pakistan to resolve all outstanding issues with India including the core issue of Kashmir through peaceful dialogues. He further said that India was constantly avoiding talks with Pakistan especially on Kashmir issue.
He also said that Indian security forces martyred 150 Kashmiri Muslims and blinded thousands Kashmiris by use of pellet guns in last hundred days. He further apprised the parliamentarians about the current situation in Kashmir and Line of Control.-PR
