Government urged to accept Bilawal's four-point demand

24 Oct, 2016

The government should accept four-point demand put forward by Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to defuse the current political crisis created by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. This was stated by PPP Senator Saeed Ghani while addressing a press conference at Media Centre Islamabad along with Nazir Dhoki and Capt Wasif on Sunday afternoon.
Senator Ghani said that Imran Khan has taken a solo flight but in fact he has assumed the role of a political suicide bomber. In fact, Imran Khan's bubble could burst if the government fulfils demands made by the PPP Chairman.
He said that Imran Khan cannot say that he will not be responsible if democracy is affected by his protest and siege of Islamabad. Nawaz Sharif was a Prime Minister after an election, which was full of irregularities and rigging incidents but Imran Khan provided him legitimacy by his antics of Dharna etc, he said.
Senator Saeed Ghani said decisions are taken with consensus in politics and entire opposition had taken notice of Panama papers and adopted legislation to investigation but Imran wants all opposition parties to follow his decision. Imran Khan lacks political maturity and thinks that the PTI is the only party of opposition, he said.
He said that Imran Khan has every right to protest but siege of Islamabad or of any other city for this purpose is not right. Imran Khan has no strategy if his adventure goes wrong and does not achieve desired result, Senator Saeed Ghani said.
Responding a question, Senator Ghani said the government will be at loss if it arrests Imran Khan. He said that the Dharna and siege of Islamabad will not be sustainable and Imran Khan will not succeed in his adventure.
