SECP introduces reforms to facilitate business community

Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has introduced various reforms to facilitate the business community of the country. This was said by Commissioner SECP Tahair Mahmood, while speaking at a seminar on SECP at Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), here on Thursday.
Tahir Mahmood said the objective of those reforms was mainly to facilitate business community. Now SECP's corporate regional offices are working in all big cities of the country. In every corporate regional office, all possible facilities are being provided to the business people.
He pointed out that SECP had introduced fast track company registration system and now people could register a company in the same day. The SECP has also reduced fees. He said it was need to create awareness so that people can know about the company registration procedure. Speaking on this occasion, Chief Executive of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), S M Munir appreciated the SECP efforts for facilitation of business community. FPCCI Senior Vice President Khalid Tawab also spoke on the occasion while a large number of businessmen attended the seminar.
