The Director General, Punjab Emergency Services (Rescue 1122), Dr Rizwan Naseer said that quality training is the backbone of Rescue 1122, as our performance is dependent on training, therefore, no compromise can be made on training standards.
While addressing the administration, instructors and cadets of the Emergency Services Academy here Saturday, Dr Rizwan said that he was proud on his instructors, who are imparting quality training amongst the cadets of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Balochistan and other areas in effective and efficient manner. Dr Rizwan Naseer said that the main objective of establishment of state-of-the-art Emergency Services Academy was to provide trained human resource to emergency services of Rescue 1122 in order to ensure provision of basic right to timely emergency care to the citizens of Pakistan.
He said that this training institute has produced over 17000 emergency professionals for Punjab & other provinces by imparting emergency management training during the last 10 years. "The vision is to produce emergency professionals for SAARC region & I wish to see my rescuers serving across the globe," he maintained.
