International Neuro-Surgery Conference from November 4

Pakistan Society of Neuro Surgeons will organise 29th International Neuro-Surgery Conference from November 4 to 6 at a local hotel in provincial capital with the collaboration of Department of Neuro Surgery, Lahore General Hospital.
This was informed by Professor of Neurosurgery Dr Khalid Mahmood, who is Chairman organising committee of the conference. Professor Khalid Mahmood said that the three day International Conference would be attended by senior doctors and experts belonging to USA, Saudi Arabia, England, Spain and Japan. Moreover a large number of eminent Pakistani neuro surgeons would also participate in the conference and deliver special lectures on the subject.
He said that a training conference to train young doctors would also be conducted in the Skills Lab established at newly constructed Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences on November 04. New techniques of neuro surgery would be introduced to young doctors during this training and they would also be imparted knowledge about brain operation through Endoscope, spinal surgery and others operations.
Professor Khalid Mahmood said that more than 250 delegates would come from abroad to attend this conference wherein as many as 50 research articles would be read out.
He said that idea behind conducting this conference is to sensitise young doctors about latest research in neuro surgery and persuade them to adopt modern and effective medical techniques.
He said that modern techniques of neuro surgery would also bring reprieve and relief for patients.
