Chairman of Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto has urged on Monday that we need to address societal issues and strengthen our democratic and judicial system. He expressed these views addressing a press conference where he also stressed on the need to bring changes in the economic system. He also emphasises that democracy was not only meant for the Parliament but also for the economic system. Bilawal said that the state should provide opportunities for everyone on equal basis.
Responding to a question on current turmoil, Bilawal put forward two solutions to tackle the situation. In the first place he urged the government to meet his four-point charter of demands and second proposal was that the coverage of ongoing chaos should be stopped as it would automatically put an end to this melodrama. He blamed politicians and media anchors equally for enhancing their ratings and taking benefit out of the ongoing situation.
Chairman of the PPP said that maintaining the rule of law was the responsibility of the state and everybody should be allowed to exercise his democratic right. He questioned that if the government could differentiate between good and bad Taliban why it didn't allow politicians to protest, how someone call himself as the prime minister of the country with this policy.
Bilawal asked the Interior Minister to resign as his actions were sending mix signals to the world. Moreover, he also blamed Chaudhry Nisar for providing proofs for Modi's conspiracies of isolating Pakistan. PPP leader said that he was confused on whether the Prime Minister or his Interior Minister was not sincere.
PPP leader said that conspiracies against the country had begun since the day our country came into being, however, as a politician it was his duty to protect his country against all sorts of conspiracy.
