Allied Bank has completed the supply, installation and commissioning of its 50th Solar Branch on October 25, 2016. The 50th branch was completed with a 15kW solar powered system at newly-constructed Sargodha Road, Faisalabad branch. The benefits of a solar powered system include discontinuation of the use of diesel fuel generators as backup power, pollution and noise-free environment, reducing the burden on National Grid and 24/7 uninterrupted banking services to customers.
ABL was the first Pakistani bank to convert its Jhang Road, Faisalabad branch on solar power in 2013. ABL has come a long way since Pakistan's first ever Solar Branch in 2013 to its 50th solar powered branch demonstrating Allied Bank's continued commitment towards green environment, energy efficiency and uninterrupted banking experience for customers.-PR
