Safe City Project with an estimated cost of Rs 7 million will be started very soon in Faisalabad to provide protection to the life and property of the peoples with special focus on the business community, said Bilal Siddiq Kamyana, Regional Police Officer Faisalabad. He was talking to a delegation of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) that met him under the leadership of President FCCI Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh in his office, here on Tuesday.
The delegation was consistent of SVP Rana Sikandar Azam, VP Engineer Ahmad Hasan and executive member Jawad Asghar. Regional Police Officer said that land for the construction of the offices of safe city project had been acquired and under that project extensive surveillance and monitoring would be ensured round the clock through CCTV cameras.
Earlier, President FCCI formally invited RPO to visit FCCI. The RPO accepted the offer and assured that he would visit FCCI along with CTO during next week. Engineer Muhammad Saeed Sheikh also pinpointed some disturbing issues and said he would make conscious efforts during his tenure to further strengthen relations between FCCI and police to resolve the minor issues at the local level.
