29th International Neuro-Surgery moot begins

Foreign delegates were impressed by high standard of medical facilities equipped with skill lab in the Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences. They were speaking at the 29th International Neuro-Surgery Conference organized by Pakistan Society of Neuro Surgeons in collaboration with Department of Neuro Surgery, Lahore General Hospital, which started here on Friday.
Experts of Neurosurgery from home and abroad including the USA, UK, Japan, Saudi Arabia and other countries are participating. On the opening day, Neurologists shared their experiences on latest trends in the field of Neuro Surgery. Professor of Neurosurgery Dr Khalid Mahmood, who is the chairman organising committee of the conference, told media that doctors coming from abroad have also brought modern medical equipment and machines to impart practical training to Pakistani doctors. The foreign doctors conducted training workshops comprising five sessions in the Skill Lab established at newly-constructed Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences and imparted practical knowledge to Pakistani young doctors.
