KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that politicians themselves have played havoc with both country and its system, adding that in case of the ineffective system, they could not be issued clean-chit and the remedy is only possible in the reforms. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Government Commerce College No 2, Manki Sharif, district Nowshera, the chief minister said that no one else than politicians will bring these reforms in the system. He said that the world went far ahead from them and giving still arguments in our wrong doings would be big mistake.
Those present on the occasion were included Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation, Mian Jamshiduddin Kakakhel, MNA Dr Imran Khattak, MPA Mian Khaliq-ur-Rehman, District Nazim Liaquat Khattak and others. He said that they have to think about the future of our youth and change of the outdated system. Nations get opportunity to take decision regarding the reformation of the outdated system. He appealed the people to support them for progress, development and establishment of the supremacy of justice and merit, abolition of corruption and stoppage of the hands of cruel.
The chief minister said that they could not afford further mistakes. The changing of the system and selecting right direction to take the nation forward is must. The chief minister inaugurated the new building of the college constructed at the cost of Rs 83.396 million. The college is spread over an area of 34 kanal. The college was earlier running in a rented building. The chief minister also announced university status for the college.
The chief minister said that their responsibility is legislation and arrest of wrong doings. The province, he said now belong to competent and qualified people and asked the incompetent to select their own course. He termed corruption, political interference and dual standard of education as root cause of all evils, saying the rich are becoming richest while poor are going poorest. He said that the youth which are fighting the rich class in such system are laudable. He said that they had taken measures for introduction of unified system of education where rich and poor will get equal opportunity of progress.
