PM's accountability: petitioner urges SC to accord priority to case

One of the petitioners in the Panama Leaks case urged the Supreme Court on Wednesday to hold Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif's accountability in the case on a priority basis, saying the probe against others involved in the matter may be carried out later.
Tariq Asad filed an application for interim relief under Order 33 Rule 6 of the Supreme Court Rules in the matter. He prayed the apex court if there is proposed commission to probe the tax evasion and money laundering then Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen, former President Pervez Musharraf, Saifullah along with his family members, former interior minister Senator Rehman Malik may also be dealt with in accordance with the law equally. "It is further prayed that the case of Mian Nawaz Sharif may be decided urgently on a priority basis, but the investigation regarding others may be done later.
