On Wednesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, P.M.E.X Commodity Index closed at 2,975. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 5.24 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,294. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 2.63 billion, followed by crude oil PKR 1.44 billion, gold PKR 1.06 billion, silver PKR 67.78 million, cotton PKR 12.74 million and copper PKR 9.6 million.
