KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak directed to process the land acquisition for the waste management project at Mauza Saran Azakheil district Peshawar during a visit to the area on Friday. Provincial Minister Shah Farman also accompanied the chief minister.
On arrival, the CM was briefed by Atta-ur-Rehman, GM Project Water and Sanitation Services (WSSP) Peshawar. The land to be acquired for the project is 540 Kanal.
The project of waste management in addition would produce 12MW electricity. Khattak directed that the site should be visited by all the parties. An industrial unit should also be planned. Chairman EZDMC, Ghulam Dastgir should also visit to select a site for the industrial unit in the area.
