19-day Theatre Festival successfully concludes

A 19-day long Theatre Festival has been successfully concluded at the Arts Council. While addressing the closing ceremony of Theatre Festival, Shaikh Rashid Alam, CEO National Hero Foundation and member Governing Body Arts Council has said that supported by Arts Council activities, Karachi undoubtedly would soon, in all its glory, be the most prominent shining star in the world of Literature and Culture.
He said the exemplary success of the 19 days' long theater Drama Festival's full house was evidence of the fact that a visionary and farsightedness leadership can turn the impossible to possible. "Where Karachi was labelled as the societal hub of Pakistan, Ahmed Shah former secretary Arts Council has decorated Quaid's hometown with stars like Literature and Culture," he said.
In addition, the continuous conduction of the International Urdu Conference attracts attention of the world-renowned scholarly leaders and experts of Literature, he mentioned.
In regards to the upcoming Music Conference and ninth International Urdu Conference, Alam said it would promote a positive and bright image of Karachi and refresh the spirit of the city too. "Ahmed Shah has proved to be a pioneer for Arts Council in bringing unimaginable successes to its cause and one of the many initiatives taken by Shah was that of the construction of a new building of Arts Council," he added.
He also paid a tribute to Ahmed Shah for his tireless service to Arts Council in the promotion of Finer Arts.-PR
