Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday visited the family of PPP leader Jahangir Badr to condole his death. Sheikh Rashid remained there for some time and offered Fateha for the eternal peace of late Jehangir Badr. Talking with sons of the deceased, Sheikh said the Badr was a gentle human being, who used to converse respectably even with his political opponents.
Later, talking to media, Sheikh Rashid slammed Indian forces for targeting the civilian population along side LoC. He warned India to mend its ways otherwise ready to face consequences.
He further said Nawaz Sharif has lost his case over Panama Leaks in the court of people. In this case, letter of prince of Qatar has caused humiliation, he opined.
Sheikh Rashid further claimed that he and Imran Khan are currently playing the role of opposition in the country. He also criticised Speaker National Assembly for causing harm to democracy.
