Senior Vice President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI), Sheikh Khalid Tawab has expressed his views that Pakistan is today much safer and stronger than 2013. Eulogizing the dedicated, meritorious and exemplary services of Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) General Raheel Sharif, he said that CoAS proved beyond a shadow of doubt that he was one of the finest military leaders of his generation.
He said General Raheel Sharif's services in maintaining security across the country was unmatched and would always be remembered in the history of Pakistan in general and Army in particular. Sheikh Khalid Tawab further added that outgoing CoAS General Raheel Sharif worked hard in addressing a number of internal and external security challenges and threats to the country.
He highlighted his significant achievements in flawless execution of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb which was recognised as the most comprehensive robust and successful anti-terrorism operation anywhere in the world. "This reflects the Pakistan's resolve and commitment to root-out terrorism," he said.
He said Raheel Sharif also made significant contribution in National Action Plan against the miscreants, unscrupulous elements, kidnapping for ransom, money extortion, target killing etc, and in maintaining writ of the government, thus providing a conducive environment to the trade and industry for promotion of their normal business activities.
