Bilawal invites former leaders to rejoin PPP

Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday asked the former party leaders to rejoin PPP and carry forward the mission for a democratic Pakistan envisioned by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Bilawal's message came a day after his party candidate Abdul Hakeem Baloch swept NA-258 seat in By-polls here in Karachi.
Congratulating the Hakim Baloch and people of Karachi on reclaiming the Malir-based NA constituency Bilawal said, "The Victory just one day ahead of the Party's entry into 50th year after its foundation from Karachi is an open message to the people of Pakistan that PPP is the only party that binds all Pakistanis in strong unity and national fraternity."
"Baloch winning the seat must show the path to all the former PPP leaders to return to their mother Party and carry forward the mission for a democratic Pakistan as envisioned by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto", he added.
He said that golden jubilee year of the PPP being started from November 30, great moment for a strong and democratic Pakistan, which stands as a model Muslim nation of the world in 21st century. Bilawal said that week-long celebrations on the Foundation Day in Lahore provide a historic chance to the Jiyalas from all over the country to reiterate their commitment and conviction to PPP and its program.
