The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PPDWP) approved two development schemes of Urban Development and Mines & Mineral sectors with an estimated cost of Rs 123.04 million. These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of the PPPDWP of current fiscal year 2016-17, a spokesman of Planning & Development department said.
Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, relevant provincial departments members attended the meeting. According to spokesman for P&DD, the approved development schemes included: Urban Development scheme of feasibility study and detailed design for signal free movement at Liaquat Bagh and Marrir Chowk, Rawalpindi (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 10m and Mines & Minerals sector scheme titled rock salt potential blocks delineation in salt range, Punjab (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 113.04m.
