Imran Farooq murder case: ATC issues arrest warrants for Altaf, others

An Anti-terrorism Court on Friday issued arrest warrants of the MQM's founder Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Anwar, Iftikhar Hussain and Kashif Khan Kamran who were named as accused in the murder case of MQM leader Imran Farooq and also have been declared absconder. The ATC judge Kausar Abbas Zaidi on Friday issued the arrest warrants of Altaf, Kashif Kamran, Muhammad Anwar and Iftikhar Hussain, naming them as absconding accused.
Among them, MQM's founder Altaf Hussain, Muhammad Anwar and Iftikhar Hussain are in UK. Sources said that the FIA had decided to arrest them and a formal request would be made to the British government in this regard. Interpol will be approached for tracing the accused Kashif Khan Kamran. MQM's founding member Imran Farooq was stabbed to death on September 16, 2010, in the Park Lane area of London by unknown attackers.
